PART-TIME, FULL-TIME & SEASONAL HELP
Duties include:
-- Help with dog workouts, exercise, swimming, and assist with other activities as directed
-- Play, condition and manage dogs in various areas, following specific guidelines per guest
-- Reinforce basic obedience with the visiting guests (Sit, Stay, Down, Wait, etc.)
-- Feed and water dogs throughout facility regularly
-- Assist our pro groomers as needed, help bathe dogs
-- Clean and maintain neatness of all areas used by dogs and clients
-- Basic office assistance
Requirements:
-- Friendly, patient and professional demeanor
-- Great listener
-- Polite and respectful
-- Ability to deal with our VIP clientele with utmost discretion, privacy and diplomacy
-- Detail-oriented; able to follow specific directions for multiple dogs
-- Can work well with upscale clients and afford great customer service clearly, and with a smile
-- 2 or more years working in one or more of the following:
Ranch Work and/or Kennel Work, Breeding, Professional Grooming, Veterinary, Obedience or Conformation
-- Ability to manage variety of dog breeds, from delicate and small, to large and powerful
-- Willingness to learn, grow and take on new responsibilities
-- References
During initial training, potential staffers are evaluated and paid a training wage per hour, which is upgraded upon completion of training.
