FLASH: EPIC WINS SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOW MARCH 14 GREATER SAN DIEGO WHIPPET ASSN, UNDER ESTEEMED BREEDER-JUDGE MR. MAX MAGDER (LORRICBROOK)
Epic is the progeny of two amazing whippets: Sire Dash (Ch Rhode Paved With Gold, ROMX) and dam Moxi (MBIS MBISS Am Can Ch Brushwood's Moxi of Endeavor), the top whippet in America for 2006 and 2007.
Her young debut and first blue were at the San Juan Capistrano supported shows in 2006; two weeks later Epic was named Best Puppy at the AWC Eastern Specialty by Breeder-Judge Mr. Brian Doherty (Martinique). She went on the take Puppy Group Second, and was also named BOS in the prior day's Sweepstakes under Judge Dr. Elizabeth (Betty) Lewis. An auspicious start for this youngster, all before one year of age.
Epic finished young, thanks to majors and terrific wins from Judges such as Mrs. Judy Webb, Dr. Anthony Lee Reasin, Ms. Sharon Zaker, Mr. Ekarat Sangkunakup, Mrs. Paula Nykiel, Ms. Carol Reisman, Mrs. Patricia Trotter, Mrs. Nancy Byrd and Mr. William Cunningham, who awarded Epic the major that finished her in style (below). Many are judges who have also acknowledged her mother Moxi with breed and group accolades.
As Judge Webb said when giving Epic BOW, "Not only is Moxi beautiful, she produces beautifully." Epic's strong record is clear evidence of that already.

The stunning Dash x Moxi pup "Echo" resides with Dash's owner Debbie Boyle of Illuminada, and her strikingly remarkable beauty and movement have judges taking a long and appreciative look at this girl, not to mention the prestigious points and ribbons at extremely competitive shows. We're thrilled to live so close to Epic's sister and father, and look forward to many more days at the shows and on the hills together.
