Now retired from the show ring as a champion, Lady loves running, hiking and performing her job as painkiller extraordinaire.
Whippets, among other select breeds, are very warm to the touch in close quarters, making them ideal therapy for patients with chronic aches from injury, immobility or arthritis. As a clean, quiet and sweet-tempered breed, whippets are ideal 24/7 comfort for patients with pain. Several studies have stated that patients with pets generally heal faster, feel better and suffer less because of their canine partners.
Lady enjoys tending to her primary charge, alleviating arthritic pain and discomfort. In between 'work' days, Lady visits Nysa Hill for play and exercise with her friends on the hill.
