Maya
Maya is from two renowned Swedish lines known for their flow and beauty. Winning a major under Pamela Peat her first time out, she then pointed under esteemed hound judges Patricia Trotter and Carol Reisman. She continued momentum as Joe Tacker, Dorothy McDonald and William F. Potter acknowledged her in stiff competition. And at the tough Inland Empire Hound Specialty in January 2005, Breeder-Judge Barbara Ruth Smith named Maya Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, thus completing her championship with a resounding major.
Shown very selectively as a champion, Maya has taken multiple Best of Breeds and Specialty Award of Merit at AWC Western Regional.
Maya was shown by Amanda Clevenger and Kim Tucker.
Maya has worked with patients in hospitals since 2003, and she will serve as the leader and ambassador of the Nysa Hill Therapy Dog team.
