The best times at Nysa Hill are... now. Here's a peek at what the dogs who play, work and train at Nysa are doing. Client dogs are taking full advantage of the sun and temperate weather. Some of our sporting dogs and whippets enjoy chasing Waterbird toys and WaterKongs in the 90-degree grotto.
For respites and rest, the dogs love to climb up to the newly-completed Cabana in the Sequoia Grove (see photos here and on the Cabana in the Grove page). There, they can survey a 280-degree view of Nysa Hill, Zelzah park, the Santa Susanna Mountains and the Valley floor. Hawks, squirrels, gecko lizards and colored birds provide unending entertainment. And humans, from show folks to trainers and friends, love the Cabana for meditation, sunsets with tapas and a glass of wine, and rest far away from the noisy world.
